Mid-Autumn GTG 2024 at Carlyle & Co with Watch Collecting
For our Mid-Autumn get-together on Friday 13 September 2024, we returned to crowd favourite Carlyle & Co on the 56th floor, this time in collaboration with Watch Collecting, the London and Hong Kong based online watch auction platform.
Watch Collecting brought the 34 watches from its Mid-Autumn collection, which were on display throughout the evening, while members enjoyed free-flow food and drinks. The auction closed on Thursday 19 September.
Two pieces from the collection
- Hermès Arceau Le Temps Voyageur: a 38mm steel travel-time watch whose time subdial also points to the selected time zone where it meets the city ring, with home time shown at the top of the dial.
- Patek Philippe 5975: the 1-minute multi-scale chronograph made for Patek's 175th anniversary, with pulsometer, telemeter and tachymeter scales. A white gold example was offered.
