The Maison Alcée Experience

On 7 June 2025 we celebrated the art of horology with Maison Alcée, winner of the Audacity Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève, in the Sola Room at Soho House, Sheung Wan.

Maison Alcée's concept is a kit of 233 parts, specialised tools and step-by-step guidance that lets enthusiasts build their own mechanical table clock. It was developed with a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, expert teachers and designers.

Members joined one of three small sessions through the day, for a hands-on introduction to how a mechanical timepiece comes together.
